It has been a great week for rocks in the Big Gossan Mine and that has inspired me to get the camera out and take some pictures of the rocks I have brought home. (I realize now that looking at pictures on Mindat.org everyday has left me feeling unsatisfied with every picture I take.) I collected most of these rocks, but I also had some help from the geology sampling crew. Although I do have to yell at them to use their hands to pull out the rocks before they use their hammer. I actually grabbed the hammer away from Frelthom on Wednesay and threw it across the drift to keep it away from the quartz crystals we were collecting. It was a little unfair: he was too short to reach the pocket. I learned the Indonesian word for share and everything was cool.
